Our mission statement at Bethany Lutheran is that we are “a family sharing love and care, where all are welcome as Christ has welcomed us.” One way we share love and care within our community is through worship. Our denomination, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, has already done wonderful work describing what we mean by worship on their website here.
We worship together for Word and Sacrament every Sunday morning at 9:30am. These services are a “combined worship” as our music for each week is a combination of hymns new and old, contemporary praise songs, and modern Christian music.
We at Bethany know that small seeds can lead to great things. Because of this, we want to foster our young ones in their growing faith. Through our children & youth ministry, we aim to invite our youngest disciples on their journeys of faith. So join us for our “Small Seeds and Sprouts Weekends” on the third Saturday and following Sunday of each month!

Pastor Susan joined Bethany Lutheran Church in 2022. She has two daughters and one son; her husband is an associate music professor at the University of Portland as Director of Bands and also Director of the Southwest Washington Wind Symphony. The couple met in Pullman in the marching band. Pastor Susan is a very friendly creative person with a warm heart that the love of the Lord shines through. Pastor Susan enjoys art, Bible art-journaling, public speaking, learning, writing, and has a deep love for the Northwest. She has been active in centering prayer, spiritual direction, and loves to walk labyrinths. Click here for past sermons

For a larger venue, we have our Fellowship Hall that holds groups such as wedding receptions, birthday parties.
The kitchen area has a large refrigerator with ice maker, stove with double ovens and also a dishwasher.
Our Faith Room is our smaller meeting room that can accommodate up to 15 people comfortably.
Bethany also has a coordinator to help you with a suitable choice for your event.
